Key Sectors for Pennsylvania & USA:

Pennsylvania, known for its rich history and diverse geography, has a variety of key resources and industries that contribute to its economy and to the nation. I have extensive experience in development, policy, oversight, growth, crisis management & implementing solutions at substantial & highest levels withing the below areas & beyond. They all need advancing growth, new markets, proper oversight, affordability, restructurings & economic policies for Pennsylvania, which I had portfolios responsible for. Here are some of the most significant:
Key Sectors

1.  Economy & Manufacturing
   - Pennsylvania Key Industries has a robust manufacturing sector that includes steel, chemicals, machinery, food processing, and fabricated metal products. Historically, it was a leader in steel production.
2.  Healthcare
   - The state is home to several major healthcare companies and pharmaceutical firms. Cities like Philadelphia are hubs for medical research and biotechnology.
3. Education and Research
   - With prestigious universities such as the University of Pennsylvania, Carnegie Mellon University, and Penn State, education and research are significant contributors to the state’s economy.
4.  Agriculture
   - In addition to dairy and mushrooms, Pennsylvania is a leading producer of eggs, Christmas trees, and fruit. The state’s agriculture also supports food processing industries.
5.  Tourism
   - Pennsylvania’s rich history, including landmarks like Gettysburg and Independence Hall, along with natural attractions like the Pocono Mountains, make tourism a vital industry.
6.  Finance and Insurance
   - Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are financial hubs with significant contributions from banking, investment, and insurance industries.
7.  Energy & Clean Water Production
   - Besides natural gas, Pennsylvania is a leader in electricity generation, particularly through nuclear power and coal-fired plants.

These resources and industries have shaped Pennsylvania’s economy, making it one of the most diverse and dynamic states in the U.S. However, it has many challenges, and poten.  tial evolving crises, that need action & care!

**********
ISSUES 4 Pennsylvania are inclusive within & effect all of these sectors. The BIGGEST, MOST CHALLENGING ISSUES ARE ECONOMY, HEALTHCARE, INFRASTRUCTURE, TAXES, SECURITY/SAFETY, ALL IN DE-FACTO CRISES!!  More discussion & pursuits of issues, solutions coming soon. However, as my background suggests much is needed in Restructuring within all, Real Growth with solid foundations to pursue current & new markets nationally & globally, competition for new small business entrants to combat inflation and high prices, low taxes for masses, cutting debt & safe and clean development. GROWTH, JOBS, ACTION! Our most critical issues, as priority: energy, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, unaccountable uncompetitive insurance, markets & education (in various forms).

More depth & focus soon, with governance, oversight, freedom & risk management. GJA4PA

                                                                                   TESTIMONIALS

I worked with George when we were both at the Resolution Trust Corporation. In a sea of madness during the Savings & Loan crisis, George was an island of calm. He was a knowledgeable asset manager, accepted responsibility (in a government entity where not many did), knew how to navigate the bureaucracy, and was a great team player who helped get things done rather than kick them down the road. I recommend George without hesitation.

George Assad was my student at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. In my 30+ year career, I have very rarely had the privilege of teaching students of George’s caliber. His thoroughness and eagerness to learn made him stand out. George’s ability to see the “whole picture” while grasping the details and nuances of complex situations was very impressive to me and to his classmates. George was (and still is) a very caring person: the kind of leader who helps others around him grow. George Assad was my student at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
